We were not made to be solitary creatures. Each of us needs a connection to other people. That is how God made us. We long to know and be known. And so, at Peace you become connected to others – not an anonymous face in a crowd, but one who is known and cherished. Come; connect with this community of faith!
Ours is a ministry of welcome. We, at Peace, strive to be a place and people of welcome. This is not an exclusive club or guarded community. Peace is a gathering of ordinary people living in the extraordinary love and care of God. And, like Jesus, our welcome is not limited to standing at the door waiting for strangers to knock. We make it our mission to be in the community serving and caring for God’s people where they live. Come; you belong here!
The world is filled with things that are empty, temporary and meaningless – shallow things. Peace is a place where you can find something deeper. Come to Peace to deepen your understanding of the God who made and loves you. Come deepen your relationships with your neighbors. Come deepen your faith through discipleship practices like prayer, worship, study, and service. Martin Luther said that the bible is like a great river. A child can play safely in its shallows, and an elephant can drown in its depths. Such is our whole faith life. Come; wade into deeper waters!
